He stood with beaming
Smiles, the counts of souls
That departed the earth by
His hand enormous. She stands
Beside and prays for resolution
From his nightmares. He calls
Out to the heavens, be gone
Ye demon from Hell and
Take thine evil ways with you.
He rushes the open part in front
Of him. She screams and tackles
Him down. She cries with the
Knowledge of his condition.
Wings unfurl in a brilliant spectacle,
She pins him to the ground
Begging for him to stop. He looks
At her and comes back to reality
Only to plead for her forgiveness.
She grants it in one swift
Meaningful kiss and roll off top
Of him only for him to stand
And pull her into the air.
Large gaping wings pull hard
In the crisp air of the night
That had been damnation for
Her earlier. They land to a familiar
Place and sit upon his grave.
The large marble stone perched on
A slab of granite gives her
Something to rest upon as he
Forces himself upon her
Telling her of sweet nothings
And her charms. She smiles and
He pulls away, looking terror struck
As he stand above her and opens
Wings to scare. He turns to his right
And begins to speak saying no
Don’t say that then to his right
Yelling you’re right as always to
Finally look down on her, eyes uncaring.
She looks up and chants his name
Progressively getting louder until
He strikes down upon her beseeching
Be gone fowl demon. He come to
And sits beside her dead body
And cuddles to it as another angel
Descends to find him there.
He never notices her current
State of existence.
