Im falling faster by each hurtful day.
The more you say the faster I fall
Your glistening eyes show unshed tears
Closing my eyes I look away
“Don’t look at me like that,” I say.
You pull me close and say “sorry, please forgive me.”
I pull away and say, “I think its best that you forget me.”
Walking away the tears run down my cheeks.
“We’re done,” I whisper.
