Critique not desired for this piece.
This is saying how I feel right now, in a way...
But NO, it’s not something that's actually happening. e.e

_{Started this last night and finished it today... It kind of just came to me, and flowed out. That hasn't happened in a long time. But... Things are all messed up again and have me all sad and upset feeling. And for some reason, those are the times when I can write easiest.}


A Stranger's Arms

Sometimes, talking to a stranger
Is easier than looking into your eyes,
And that’s the reason why...
I don’t come home some nights.

Sometimes a stranger’s arms...
Feel more loving than yours.
And the wine is more comforting
Than your distracted words.

Sometimes a stranger’s bed
Feels more welcoming than ours.
And he may not know my name, but...
His voice is more loving than yours.

When I come home the next morning
And you don’t even glance up at me...
It makes me feel so unloved... So again
Tonight, a stranger’s arms are where I’ll be.
