Like the leaves in autumn


dead leaves fall from the trees
as I walk by the ground turns
red and brown as the leaves of autumn
drop to the ground slowly withering away
as I wither away from you


snow falls from the gray sky
as the winter comes and takes the summer away
like the stranger took you away from me
what happened to our love I ask
from the chilling breeze that floats away
away from me like you did in the past


cold northern wind pushes me forward
towards the place we first met
the field by the frozen lake
I can still feel you in my arms
like the day we first met
by this frozen lake


Is my life worth living without you
I ask from the cold breeze
It's so silent, only the wind howls
between the rocks, it howls so sadly
it howls like I did when you left me alone
still I ask why by this frozen lake
I still ask why you left my heart shattered
still it bleeds, still I wither away like
the leaves in autumn...
