[DorianP]: 206.Poetry.Another step on the road to eternity

I wrote this yesterday. I'm glad the days are getting shorter, as I write more and better when it is dark and sombre outside. It's not a fantastic poem, I know, but hey, it's a start. Normally I don't like metre and rhyme so this is something new for me.
Don't ask about the title. You wouldn't understand.

It’s all a fucking lie
Everything they told me
So why don’t we just die
And be finally free

Despair is getting through
Cries in the soulless night
Nothing but me and you
Craving for love and light

I want to do it all
Save your soul, lose my pain
Destroy that evil wall
That’s driving me insane

Time is the key, they say
I’ve wasted all of it
Minutes ticking away
Spent as my mind saw fit

What to do now?
I’d love to cry
But don’t know how
So I’ll just sigh

Once more
