The eternal sleep

Deep beneath the surface, were shadows lure and were the sunlight don’t warm, here lies the world of the walking dead. This is not the livings world, nor have a living creature ever been here. The only creatures here is the dead, again walking, rising up from their graves. The only sound is the light breez of the wind, blowing among the dead trees and lifting up the fallen leafs from the ground. You don’t want to come here, though you’re already here. The cold breez gives you chills crawling up your back. You hear sounds that aren’t there, just in your imagination. The footsteps of someone chasing you, the roar of a monster wanting to eat you for dinner, many things but their not there. The mysterious Dark is chasing you, wanting to get you to join him, but you’re to scared to notice the actuall threat. Darkness is spreading. Will you let it into your heart or will you try to get away from it?

I’m Death, standing before you. I has walked beside you for a long time now, and you haven’t even noticed. Dark is out to get you, and he will gradually get to you, and then you have no place to go. BUT. If you want you can take my hand and I’ll let you into my world. There you’ll meet many of thoes you’ve lost and many people you’ve never even met before. So, please, take my hand and I’ll get you out of this world of darkness. That’s right. Just take my hand and we’ll be out of here in just a second. There you go. Good little human. Now we’re going to the world of mine and I’ll introduce you to my brother, Dream. He shall give you something that you’ve searched for for a long time. The eternal sleep.

Now don’t be scared of the darkness around you. It’s harmless. It’s only the world, disapearing before your eyes. Here comes my brother, that man standing there, with eyes like two stars glowing in the eveningsky. Just let go of my hand and take his instead and everything will be alright. Good!
