Peace

As we walk in the meadows
I see the river flowing ever so quite beside us
The mountains in the distance
With the sun rising over top
I think nothing can make this any better
But then I look at your face
and realise that everything has gotten better
The birds begin to sing
The sky turns a lush orange and red
The very few clouds turn orange with a black outline
Rain comes down that glitters gold
Yet it isn't cold at all
The rain only lasts a second and then the sky is filed with a single rainbow
I turn back to your face and then you say you must leave
Just as you turn around to walk away
The sun goes behind a cloud
the rains comes pouring
a mighty wind howls
Lightning strikes a near by tree setting it ablaze
The birds flee for there life
An Earthquake hits the ground around me
leaving me standing there alone
You can no longer be seen in the distance
The world falls apart piece by piece
Why did you have to leave
it all would have been fine
if you had just stayed.
