[YokoTsuta]: 250.Subject Predicate Poem--"Passive"

This poem was an assignment for my English class, defined by being a noun and a verb to each line. I stared at it for the longest time, before my mp3 player game me what I needed. The inspiration was a song called Passive from A Perfect Circle. However, it turned out very different, as pressing things changed it into something a little more sympathetic. I couldn't read it aloud if I had even wanted to.

The most ironic thing was: I wrote this on Valentine's Day.

Nature claiming
Hope disappointed
Realization wakes
Roses shunned
Empathy resisted
Regret prevails
Indifference betters
Death turn!
Fate steers
End disillusioned
Expectant waiting
Future foretold
Decision settled
Dreams vanquished
Present conquers
