[Paz]: 276.A Boy and his Dog (test)

Once there was a boy from the merry, misty lands of Scotland in the year 1845. Everyday he would prance merrily about in the fields with the sheep and play the bag pipes (much the sheeps' dismay). His father thought that because of the horrible noise that he made on his bagpipes, the sheep were not happy... well he was right. Sp he decided to get the boy something to distract him from the bagpipes.

The next day when the boy dashed out to the fields he was greeted by a barking, happy little Scottie dog. The boy was so overjoyed that he threw the bagpipes over his head and the crashed to the ground and broke. Then he dashed over to the dog and tackled it in hugs and kisses. They were friends from then on.

Ten years later the boy was at home with his wife, reading the evening post and smoking his pipe. The scottie dog lay in front of the fire, snoring away to the sound of the crackling. They had been best pals for many, many years and then some but some good things must come to an end. That night, in one huge crack from the fire, the scotties snores were silenced forever.

So keep your friends close because like Scottie they might one day be gone forever.
