Note: Written 3-12-03 for an English class.

Nightmares are dreamily dangerous,
and deceitfully delightful,
Delicare yet destructive.
They can do a lot,
Some fair good and some fair bad,
But does it all sepend on you?
What secrets are hidden,
In nightmarish dreams that belong to us,
Do you ponder on you nightmares,
After they are gone.
Or do you try quite hard just to forget,
Do you really succeed in doing that,
Are they truly gone from you and your sight,
Or have they disappeared into some dark corner of you mind,
To simply sit and wait to silently slip back into your dreams,
And scare you until you awake with a scream,
Well let us see...
For if after this poem you don't have nightmares of your own.
