I'm choking on the the ashes of my dreams as they drift from the sky.

Tarna hunkered in her crude shelter, the fire storm ravaging the outside world. The planet was nearly inhospitable to anything that needed oxygen and a source of water as the basis of survival.
Tarna's colony had been wiped out when the storms arrived.
