This paper is drier than a desert dog turd, but it's also the culmination one of my most difficulkt Master's courses (Dialectology)I'm really proud of it, but unless you're interested in educational research I don't know how interesting you'll find it (Do read the other stuff I've got up though! That's all more fun.) If you do read it, who knows? You might learn something! You might also get an insight into why I went back to writing fiction... Much more fun. Anyway, here it is.

2006-03-17 Askoga: I really like the discussion about the dialects. I found myself nodding at some points, in agreement, and adjusting my way of thinking in others, to accomidate the new ideas you presented.

I haven't yet finished reading through your paper, but it's interesting so far. I simply need a break from the computer.

2006-03-17 dmeredith: The fact that you can struggle through that thing at all is impressive... Whatever you think of it in the end you still get kudos for that!

2006-03-17 Askoga: Struggle? It's a fun read! Though I've been told I have a strange idea of fun. Actually, it's very organized, and sounds pretty professional (to me). I'm sure it helps that you teach the subject.

Actually, for a few years now (since I was a sophomore in high school, and I graduated from there last spring) I've been toying with the notion of studying to be an English as a foreign language teacher. I think it sounds like a great job. But, that's my second choice right now. For now, languages are only a hobby, and I'm thinking of becoming a school librarian.
