Krista and her friends went to the bus stop silently. What they had just seen was "The obvious unbelievable". the advertisement, at first... It could have been a joke as well. But then- the car crash! And, when the ambulance and policemen came, they couldn't find the dead bodies. All of it seemed so strange and unbelieveable... The police had noticed the advertisement as well, that's why the case was given to criminal investigation. Everyone was guessing the reasons- only a few said it was a coincidence. When she came home, Krista said to herself: "Well, Krista, there goes another proof that wonders exist!" She was always collecting in her memory all the strange happenings. She desperatedly wanted to know if wonders really exist. I must admit that this accident took a place in her collection as the most inexplicable one. Even if the police would explain all that and find the guilty one, Krista would think that the parallel world is involved here. While walking, she often talked to an imaginary friend. She had called her Neva. At first Krista had wanted to call her Nova, but this latin name is still a very latin name, so it was changed a bit and the being was called Neva. Krista thought that Neva is an elf. Although she got to know elves only after watching "The Lord of the Rings". Of all the characters, Krista felt elves to be the closest to her. Sometimes she reproached herself that maybe she likes them because of their looks. But the character is important as well. But, testing herself, Krista came to a conclusion that if she met a short, fat and wrinkled person with an elvish character, she wouldn't like that being. Or maybe she would come to like it...

With thoughts like that in her head, Krista was sitting in the tramway. When she got out of there, she asked in her head to Neva :"Did you see it? Or maybe you know something more about it? I wish I could hear you! Neva, are you an elf? Maybe you know something more about this accident? Leave me a sign to show it!" "I am a dumbass!" Krista said to herself "I am crazy. I am talking to myself. I am crazy that I believe in miracles. I know that by heart now." "Neva, I wish you could leave a mark, so I can know for certain that wonders exist. These wishes are killing me!"
Despite these thoughts that were pulling Krista's heart apart- you can't call it diferently, she smiled and rang the doorbell. When she said to herself the magic words "Well, Krista, you *are* crazy," she always felt better. At that moment, all the worries of the parallel worlds vanished from Krista's soul, leaving only the pure, simple and wondrous beauty of this one world. This time it wasn't so simple, though- the car crash had melted them together.

On the evening, while watching the news, Krista noticed that there wasn't a word about car crash. Weird...

Neva ran into her father's chamber. It was almost empty. Her father was sleeping in his bed. When she came in, he opened his eyes as if waking from a very long sleep. Father yawned, streched and looked at his daughter. He didn't look like a person who had suffered a car crash. But Neva had never before seen a fairy in that condition. When he noticed the confusion in Neva's face, father smiled and asked: "Never seen a fairy who's been in a car crush? It's not that bad- as you can see." Really, it looked even too good to be true. "But I don't want to lie to you," Her father said after a short moment, "it's a lot worse actually. Say me if you think you won't be able to bear these news!" Neva looked in her father's face. He was calm, but Neva could see that he simply doesn't want to tell her something if she doesn't agree. Neva wasn't a being who's easy to scare. Maybe that's why her father considered telling her what he wouldn't to any child 14 years of age. "Say me, dad," Neva said. "Good," said her father, "The fairies can't cut themselves- the wounds heal immediately. You know it yourself, because your powers were that good when you were only ten. But even these powers have their limits. Although yours is pretty high, in my case you'd be dead. I'm alive only because of that my powers are quite good. But... Neva, I've lost those powers. I'm human. All the non-human I can do is fly." Everything was silent for a moment.Father was looking at Neva challenging- how much can she take? In Neva's head there were various thoughts and feelings; the least was hysteria, but sanity destroyed it with a thought: There is no meaning for hysteria. Suddenly Neva smiled- she had looked at this fight in her mind. She imagined histeria and sanity as two warriors. On their foreheads was written: "hysteria" and "sanity". This vision disappeared, but it had done a great change- hysteria retreated and Neva drew a breath and asked her father: "Is that all? Or you haven't told me something? It's not that bad, as far as I know!" Father was going to say something when the door swung open and the owner of the hospital came in. Neva felt it has to do with her. The owner had started to say: "What is a...", when Neva sent a questioning thought. The owner finished the sentence uncertainly: "... a human girl doing here?" There was confusion in his voice. Even an average fairy of Neva's age couldn't use telephaty that good. Not to speak of human beings. There was a really short silent moment, full of confusion. Neva's father lifted one eyebrow comically. "A human girl?" He asked, "I don't see one here. Neva?" Neva sent him a thought of everything that had happened. "Turn around!" Father told Neva. She turned around. In father's head the thoughts had the same duel as in Neva's thoughts when she got to know what had happened to her father. "That's ok," Father said, "it's my daughter. Perhaps she looks a bit different." It seemed logical for the owner of the hospital.

Because he knew by now who Neva is- since the moment when she showed him her powers. He knew Neva was going to make a lot of worries for them. And went to tell it to the Queen. The owner knew, too, that these worries could be eliminated. How- that was the Queen's doing.

"So," said Neva's father, "that owner is one weird person." "And evil," Neva said. Father looked at Neva, surprised. "You've grown up..." he said, "In mind. That's good. I have to tell you something. Long." A message thrilled in the air. It was meant for father, but Neva felt it, too. A leave to go home. "But, at first, we'll go home. Will you help me, please?" Neva didn't understand how exactly could she help. But then she got it without words that her father wants Neva to teleport him. He smiled at her. And Neva knew she could do it. And how. She took her father's hands in hers. It calmed her down. She closed her eyes and concentrated...
