This poem was written while in high school and I had lost a dear friend of mine.


Forever Gone


My heart is empty,
With a coldness in every breath.

Nothing seems real,
Reality seems nothing.

Life has no meaning,
And it’s pit is deep with sorrow.

My loss is great.
My loss is first.
My loss is close.

She is gone for good,
And I pray it has been for the better.

My tears are full of pity,
With my soul so torn.

I miss her with greatness.
I want her back home.
But she is forever gone.
