THE STORM

The sea swirling and churning
A tempest growing out of control
Feeding upon its intense anger
Roaring for release in the night


Swords of energy flashing brightly
As lightening illuminates the sky
Showing of the whirling blackness
Fading to recapture its strength



Thunder resounds through the air
Rumbling through the heavens
Vibrating across the sands
Agitating the seas rolling floor



The waves building upwards
Increasing height and width
Escalating toward the darkened sky
Only to crash back down again



The tempest that is mounting
Building and growing so strong
Churning up the mighty sea
Reflecting this life within me
