Moment

these few moments will be gone
with last shine of the sun
as I guard on the peak of my pile
looking forward an additional smile

far from the ground
the breeze of the clouds
snow raining down
and I waiting for cleansing touch

the mist surrounding me
obscuring all I can see
twilight and shades of neon
and my thoughts bound to grief

sky softly ignites with stars
and covering darkness falls
empty sounds fade out
and I slowly turn away

let the silence surround me
with its shivering embrace
night welcomes me
