Knowing I'd be okay, for just a little while
We said our goodbyes and once I heard the click
My lip started to quiver, I felt so sick
I gripped the phone tight, hearing the dial tone as I fell to my knees
No longer could I fight the tears, hoping no one sees
I grabbed the knife and gripped it tight
butcherd my arm again tonight
Nothing was helping, I just kept on crying
Every day I just keep on dying
No one sees it, they think I'm fine
And still no one knows that I keep getting one step closer to crossing that line
Dying on the inside, smiling on the out
They say it's all in my head, and that I doubt
So I'll just keep on smiling, while I'm slowly dying
And no one will know that I've been crying.
