This is how I feel science looks at art and faith and takes apart the universe, kind of odd coming from an agnositc.

A cut
A scream
Blood flows
Dark coals of defiance
A twisted laugh of mirth
The body begs

Another cut
Another scream
Fresh blood flows
Fevered dreams of escape
The thought forms
The mind rebels

Fire on ice
Choking back the roar
Blackened flesh falls
The last rush of desire
A heart breaks
The soul repents

A cooling drink
Dead lungs gasp
Whispered words
Final acceptance
Peace approaching
Dark blood slows

A shell is burned.
