How can I, how can I
Live to die, live to die?
Live to love, yet to love to die.
All the while my heart idly flies,
But my mind soars past present into the future,
And lets me live not the now,
Lets me love not the now.

I so wish for a mirror,
A contrast to how I work,
To love to live now,
To live to love now,
And not to think on how,
I may die in the way shadows lurk,
Sending forth death, causing my shiver,
As they so sinisterly sliver.

My dear I do not fear,
What may happen here,
All I'd need is you near.
To love and hold and,
Truth be told,
To live you, yes, to live forever.
