    Arthur is tall and thin, with long, stringy hair in a greasy pony tail down his bony back. Shmuel is short, bearded and portly. One owes the other money. Neither is quite sure who owes whom, hence the animosity. They meet accidentally at a public fireworks display, Shmuel with his wife and seven young children, Arthur with his high-strung rescued greyhound. The youngest child is immediately drawn to the dog who becomes obsessively protective. Unable to separate the two new friends, Arthur and Shmuel shake hands and forgive each other’s trespasses as the heavens shower them with a golden benediction.
