These are the poems that are in more detail and have sometimes been called short stories. I love them so much, they are probably my favorites in fact.

Open Your Mind, Maybe It Will See
Her heart, to you, so black
But, to her, untouched
She went her whole life
Feeling no love from any of us
She was different from the rest
Like none of the others
For her soul was empty
Like that of a poor mans cupboard
The feelings she got at home
Were not ones of love
But instead ones of pain and hatred
Ones of beating and the burning of the stove
Nothing she could find
Ever made her happy
Until one day she found that person
In a band called "Window Tappy"
This person to her
Was like no other
And the bond between them,
I have never seen anything stronger
The one she fell so in love with
Just the mere thought brought a smile to her face
The name Maria was music to her ears
But to her parents it meant disgrace
She couldnt help what she felt
But it was failure in her parents eyes
And all the kids at school
All they felt for her was despise
Not one person could accept her
For all she was inside
Except this one girl Maria
Whose love for her was greater than an amount of any size
The love between then grew
But so did the hate from everyone around
So they decided to leave
That little close-minded town
But before they could do this
The evil around them brought this plan to a halt
For all the children around them
Just couldnt accept that this was the way they thought
They found this girl
Whose name was Emily Strife
They tied her to a fence post
And threatened her with her life
She had never been so scared
While Maria was by her side
And as the gun was pointed
Maria knew she had to decide
The love of her life
Was about to die
But Maria knew
She couldnt just sit there and cry
As soon as the trigger was pulled
Marias mind was made up
And as the bullet came
Maria made a jump
Right in front of the bullet
Marias loving heart fell
And in a matter of seconds
Marias face had grown pale
Emilys life was saved that day
By the one person who saw her beauty inside
The evil kids untied her
And she fell to her knees and cried
For although she was still alive
All she had was gone
She sat there and she cried
Until from the horizon rose the dawn
That night was the worst she had experienced
But then the realization hit
Yes Maria was gone
But she couldnt just stay quiet and sit
All she had ever longed for
Was taken from her that day
And to those kids who took Maria
Emily had something to say
Open your eyes
And see what you have done.
You say that you are holy
But if you were Maria wouldnt be gone.
She paused for a moment
Tears running down her face
And pulled out something Maria had given her
A handkerchief made of lace
You never accepted me for who I was
No matter what I did.
I never knew I felt that way
But when I met Maria my feelings were no longer hid.
You could have at least tried
To see how happy we were
But instead you decided to play God,
You decided we were wrong for sure.
You may think that because shes gone
Maybe I have changed
But I like the way I am
No matter if you think its strange.
Dont worry though,
I will be on my way.
You wont have to deal with me any longer,
I have no reason to stay.
With these words
She turned and went on her way
With all those close-minded fools
Knowing it was them that caused so much grief that day

Love Conquers All
It started out normal
A day like any other
Then the phone rang
It was Lindas brother
She tried to pick it up
But she couldnt seem to get a grip
He left a message of tears
And let an Im going to miss you slip
She couldnt understand what he meant
By all the words and tears shed
Next things she knew her boyfriend came home
And fell crying on the bed
She kept asking frantically
What happened? Whats wrong?
But he just ignored her
And turned the radio to their song
The next words out of his mouth
Just confused Linda more
Linda I will miss you
More than I have ever had to before
Tears rolled down his face as he took a long pause
And then he tried to start his speech again
But he couldnt seem to speak
So instead he got some paper and a gift from Linda, a pen
Linda I just want you to know
That you are the love of my life.
This day was supposed to be our happiest
For I was going to ask you to be my wife.
I dont know how I will go on
Not seeing your smile everyday
And I dont know how I will live
Without you urging me to do stuff the right way.
Although we have parted ways
We shall meet again
And I will remain completely faithful to you
Until I meet my end.
With these last words he ended it
And signed it with more than goodbye
I will love you until I cease to be.

Next to the letter he laid a ring
The one that was supposed to be Lindas today
He read what had been engraved once more
3/15/04 from M.S. to L.K.
Linda followed him to the door
And then to his car
But he got in without her
So she chased him till she was behind by far
Next to her she noticed a paper
Local Girl Dies In Sleep it said
And she became curious
So on she read
A local girl was found shot this morning
Lying in her bed.
We got to her just seconds too late
And before we could help she was dead.
We have decided this was no accident
This poor girl was sought out
And we intend to find soon
What her death is all about.
After she read this
She noticed a picture to the side
And when she realized who it was
She put her head in her hands and cried
Under the picture
The caption said
Linda Kempki:
Found Dead.
She couldnt believe her eyes
How could this be true?
She could hear and see everything
Same as me and you
Then it all popped in her head
All that happened was clear
She now remembered last night
All those feelings of fear
A man had tried to kidnap her
But somehow she got away
Then she could remember seeing him
Right down the hallway
She couldnt remember what happened next
But somehow he must have gotten inside
And killed her while she was sleeping
Then left her while she died
Everything was now clear to her
Why everyone was so sad
And why everyone was crying
And why they felt so bad
She walked back to her apartment
And noticed something she hadnt before
A bloodstain was on her pillowcase
And blood was scattered across the floor
She broke down on her knees and cried
Then she got up and ran
She ran right to her moms house
And there she saw the man
The man that killed her
She had known all her life
He was her best friends brother
Who always said she would grow to be his wife
She know what he would do next
Because of the look on his face
But she knew she had to stop him
She couldnt let him kill Malaki no matter what the case
She tried everything she could think of
Until her thoughts just ceased
The realization now hit her
She couldnt stop this beast
There was no way to warn anyone
Or to help protect him
And she realized her chances of saving him
Were extremely slim
She followed him for the next two days
And helped every way she could
Malaki went back to their apartment
And in the doorway he stood
He went in and started to pack
Tears in his eyes
And then he got everything packed
And told the apartment his last goodbye
He noticed someone following him
So he rushed to his car
And locked the doors and windows
And grabbed his crow bar
The man then left him alone
So he sat there till he calmed down
The he started to cry again
As he pictured Linda in her wedding gown
He sped away with tears still flowing
And he just kept thinking of her
Not seeing where he was going
While he stared off into space
He accidentally ran a red light
And as a tractor-trailer truck hit him
He gave up with no fight
She stood there watching it
With nothing she could do
Then something wonderful happened
A strange dream some true
Malaki came out and ran to her
Then she knew that she had died
But she was so happy to feel him hold her
That for the first time out of happiness she cried
I told you we would meet again
Even if it was this way
I dont really care how it was
Because it brought us back together today
Finally they were together again
With more happiness than ever
They knew that this was better than life
Because the next time they would part would be never
