I got in a lot of fights when I was young, and got my head knocked around enough times that I went colour-blind. I see the world in shades of grey now, and the doctors said I should be glad I could see at all after all concussions I had. I thought I would never see colour again, but that all changed the day I met Gabrielle, and she smiled bright enough to light up the room.
When all you can see is shades of grey, you can’t mistake the colour of Heaven – and it loved her as much as I did.
