Jimmy woke up on the ground in what looked like a storage closet. There was a wide assortment of brooms, mops and other cleaning utensils riddled the walls, but nothing of use. The door was locked so he couldn't get out. The walls were only made of wood, but he wasn't about to kick through that. He knew on the other side were more Japs ready to kill a member of the Allied forces, even if it was just a private.

He thought to himself, Damn... how do you get out of this one, Jimmy? He looked around for something to cut the twined ropes that held his hands. That. Right next to him was a bucket that had been chipped, he got to his knees and moved his hands back and forth fraying the ropes. They'll be back any minute, come on... COME ON! YES! He had broken through one of the layers loosening it enough to get his hands free.

Alright, next... He leans down looking under the door to see how many men were on guard. He only only saw one, but he knew there were more. None the less he had to take his chances, he ran through the door breaking it into debris; the guard turned around just in time for his arm to get broken and his neck snapped. I don't think anyone heard me, good. He drug the body over to a corner and set him there. He took the Japs pistol and spare magazines, then walked to the door. He looked around the corner, No one. He ran out the door and to the corner of what looked like a house, Jimmy looked around trying to find a way out. The path! He made a run for it in a frenzy. He made it but he jumped off the path just in time. He could not stick to the main roads; vegetation would be his new best friend for now.

After several miles he came to a spring, sorely dehydrated he kneeled down and and drank, the cool water immediately quenching his thirst, but he needed more. He drank and drank until he was nauseas. He leaned over to the side and let the yellow stream erupt from his mouth; that wasn't going to stop him from indulging though. As soon as he was done puking he took a couple of more handfuls of water, then wiped his mouth. He looked to the right and saw a path, Jimmy followed it with his eyes then noticed that it came to a large iron barred gate. That must be a base.

He heard leaves crunch and twigs break behind him, but he figured it was just an animal. Not letting his warrior instincts take control. Once again he was wrong. A large hand chopped him in the side of his neck knocking him unconscious.

Jimmy woke up in a metal room, his hands were binded to the chair he was sitting in. Jimmy tried to move his legs but they wouldn't budge. His eyes were still in tunnel vision,

He looked around and saw a large man with two smaller men around him, the large one out of the three stepped up, "Good, you're AWAKE!" Jimmy felt a great pain in his left eye as it ballooned out swole shut.

"That voice... Lieutenant?" Jimmy knew it was him. He knew the voice, but he couldn't let himself believe that Lieutenant Conner, a former, respected military man and pier would ever let the Japs turn him.

"Good to see you again Jimmy boy. How ya been? Still working for those Allied dogs are ya? Do you like the accommodations I've given ya? Pretty generous if you ask me, I was about to kill you before I remembered, 'Oh wait this is Jimmy, we went to high school together.' Oh ho, better be thankful I remembered. So how's your wife and my kid?" Lieutenant Conner had always been the cocky type, if Jimmy could say one thing about him its that he prided himself in being an ass.

Jimmy heard enough, this wasn't the Conner he had known and respected for so long. He clenched his fists; tears of anger welled up in his eyes. "Awww what's wrong? Jimmy gonna cry? Just like old times ay pal? I dish a beating, you take it like a little bitch." Conner kept going on and on.

Jimmy was sick of it, "Heh, just like old times Conner. Hey come here, I have a secret." Jimmy was about to dish something out to Conner he had been deserving for a while.

Conner put his ear by Jimmy's mouth, "What's that Jimmy?" Jimmy opened his mouth and bit down hard on Conner's ear biting te top half of it completely off.

Conner let out a blood curling scream clutching what was left of his ear, "YOU MOTHER FUCKER! I'M NICE ENOUGH NOT TO KILL YOU AND THIS IS THE THANKS YOU GIVE ME? I'M NOT GOING TO GIVE YOU THE PLEASURE OF DYING!"

Jimmy spits out the ear so he can speak, "What's wrong Conner? Awwww Conner gonna cry? Not like old times huh Conner? CRY LIKE A LITTLE BITCH! HUA!" Conner still screaming and clutching his head snaps for the smaller ones to begin the torture the two smaller ones walk up to Jimmy as Conner walks out.

The smaller Japanese men walked over to Conner smiling at him then went behind him. There was a rattle like a metal tray being messed with. After a few clanks from the tray he felt something sharp go under his finger nails and a small, steady stream of water. He heard of this torture. The bamboo started to bloat. Jimmy felt the pressure on his fingers. It got worse and worse until he let out a a deafening scream of pain as his fingernails cracked down the middle.

Conner comes back in with his head bandaged, he looked at the two smaller ones, "Leave him to me." They looked surprised, that was the only English they knew; and since he was a higher up they listened to him. "Leave." Conner pointed to the door. The two Japanese soldiers got up and left.

Conner waited for the door to shut before pulling out a Kabar and slicing Jimmy's hands and legs free of the leather that held his hands and ankles to the chair, "You better be worth this Jimmy, I've been stuck here since our chopper was bombarded on touchdown. I've been looking for another man to help me back."

Jimmy wasn't sure if he could trust Conner, but he had to get out of here some way. Conner jangled two sets of keys at him, "Chopper or Zero Jimmy?"

Jimmy didn't care he just took one of the keys. "Ah nice choice, you just picked the Mitsubishi A6M. You're in for one hell of a ride private. They should be parked right next to each other, go north once you get her fired up that's the only type of air strip they have here. If you can't get her up within 100 feet, you hit the wall. Think you can do that?"

Jimmy nods then points to Conner's Kabar, Conner hands it to him. Jimmy takes the knife and puts a small up in his eye so the blood can drain then hands it back to Conner. "Alright, pull off your jacket." Jimmy pulls it off to look at the map inside. "Ok we are right here," Conner points to an area of dense forest, "So once you're in the air pull a ninety degree turn to the west. Then keep going straight. The next place you will reach should be... here, Hawaii. Looks like a place called Pearl Harbor. Are we clear on this?" Conner asked, but he already knew Jimmy could handle his own.

Jimmy nodded, "Yeah. I got it." Conner looked a little worried but eventually shook it off, "Good, now the plan is, I have to make it look like I re-binded your hands. Once we are outside we will walk to the medical transport chopper, you break your hands free and we will make a run for it. Put your jacket back on and lets go."

Jimmy put the key in his jacket pocket and put his hands behind his back. Conner wrapped a chain around them loosely tucking it to make it look like it was tied. Conner grabbed the back of Jimmy's shirt and squeezed it tight, "COME ON! QUIT FIGHTING!" Conner pulled him over opening the door and yanked him out into the hallway.

Jimmy put up a bit of a fight to make it seem more realistic. Conner yanked him around every corner until he got to the air lot. There they were, the medical chopper and the zero sitting right next to one another. They walked over to them out of the ling of sight of the guards. Jimmy undid his hands, "Go!" Jimmy scrambled into the zero and Conner jumped into the helicopter. They turned the keys at the same time Conner immediately hovering in mid air while Jimmy moved the plane to get ready for take off. He went full force all the way to 105 feet and cleared the wall by centimeters.

The few soldiers that were outside didn't have time to pull the alarm. Three of them got into their planes and started a pursuit. They had to break it off. Two of their men were too far behind and one had hit the wall. "Woo! We made it!"

Conner looks down at the gas, "Damn..." His tank was sitting on empty. "I'll take the quick way out." He looks up at Jimmy and waves as he pulls all the way forwards and goes down into the ocean. "CONNER! CONNNEEEERRRR!" He doesn't stop he has to keep flying.

Jimmy saw it, IT WAS AN ALLIED BASE! He tried to put her down but got fired at. Maneuvering around the turret fire he remembered he was in an axis air craft. He maneuvered around the turret fire, loving how good the handling on it was then he pulled a ninety degree turn in a blind spot and landed it. He jumped out as the Allied soldiers ran towards him and pulled out his dog tags waving his hand at them, "I'M U.S.! I'M U.S.!" The soldiers stopped, one of them stepping up, "Jimmy?"

Jimmy nodded, "Yeah, it's Jimmy." The soldier ran up and hugged him, "Haha Jimmy! Good to see you made it out alive man, you need to go give the general a full report."

Jimmy nodded, "Where is he right now?" The young man pointed towards the shore. Jimmy looked down the shore seeing a man in a dark suit, "Alright, thanks Wallace."

Jimmy walks down to the beach, up to the man in the dark suit. He pops his body to attention and salutes him, "Sir, Private Jimmy Hentross reporting back, sir!" The man flinched at the voice, "Good to have you back son, tell me everything, and don't be formal about it. You're more of a soldier than I'll ever be."

Jimmy relayed his story to him, how he got to their air base, about Lieutenant Conner, and how he got back. "It sounds like you had one hell of a day, son, take the rest of it off." Jimmy smiled, "On one condition, sir." General Hentross looked him in the eye, "What is that condition Jimmy?" Jimmy looked back at the bird he flew in on, "That I get to keep it. It handles like a dream and is faster than any of ours." General Hentross shook his head, "We have to put it into research if it handles as well as you say it does. Now get to your barracks on the double. MOVE IT!" Jimmy turned and ran back to his bunk double time.

The alert sounded, it was time for another battle. No one was prepared for this one except Jimmy. He had been sleeping in full uniform, which was against dress code, but it kept Him safe unlike all of those other fools. His B.C.U.'s flapped in the wind as he ran to the bird the general assigned to him in place of his lost type Zero. This was going to be one hell of a battle.
