This poem is about another
One so dear to me
Who else but my faithful lover
She rises above the rest

She shields me from the darkness of life
And shines so bright to scare it away
She rises up and takes me with her
To a better place with no sadness or hatred

She’s there for me in my needful time
Just like the sun that’s there in the sky
I miss her on our times apart
I wish her here to absorb her beauty

Constant thoughts fill my head
They shove out misery and constant dread
She is the kindle of my fire
She keeps up the flames or these desires

The way she is, just flawless
Impossible to prove it all
The way she moves and speaks
The butterflies are released

When she calls, I am there
When she cries, my shoulder is there
When she falls, I pick her back up
When she flies, I hold her up

The river that flows in my heart
Is pure of fear and regret
As you are there by my side
Through thick and thin

Why we are together is a mystery
But nor far from reality
This world is meant for you and I
But much more is to be said of the skies

For now I know life’s true joy
It’s not money and fame of people
It’s a simple matter of companionship
No more than people as friends

I not only speak of love and lovers
Closer friends too, jut them and I
We are together to protects what’s ours
Now we can share
The rightful love to each other
