Down deep in our souls
We harbor our secrets
And we hold in our hearts
That grim gruesome hate
But if you open your mind
And stop wasting your time
It will release right through that gate

The finding of your faults
And loss with you to blame
Comes with heartfelt pain
And the flames of our sorrows
May not be doused by just one prayer
The lies n our eyes
Shone brighter than day
How transparent we’ve been
We can’t hide the sin
We all have memories
That we can never forget
And under our skin
Are the battles we may lose or win
All of our time used for pointless dread
And we fear the inevitable time

But we keep living on
And carry on to our dreams
Because in the end
His message will have been sent
We go through and carry on
Through hardship and happiness
Even when it seems hopeless
But we’re alive
And we’ll follow through
We’re altogether now
And only human
