The day is done and you popped those pills
The day is done and there’s that alcohol you spilled
The day is done and the weed you smoke
The day is done and you sniffed that coke

The day is done and you popped those pills
You think you need them so you can just chill
You really don’t care that you have them now
As long as no one asks you how

Now you know their gonna kill your mind
But you don’t care cause they make you seem kind
As you sit there and swallow another bottle
Let’s see what happens when your mind hits full throttle

The day is done and there’s that alcohol you spill
That’s why you had an accident up on that hill
Now, you knew you shouldn’t have been drinking and driving
Now you’re in the hospital barely surviving

Then you in the hospital they check your liver
And all they find is a little tiny sliver
Now your liver is pretty much destroyed
All cause you used drinking as a feeling decoy

The day is done and the weed you smoked
You thought I’d be better than sniffing coke
Now that your brain is pretty much dead
I guess that’s all that really has to be said

Now you out of money because of your addiction
But you don’t care because it’s your benediction
Now you have troubles to make ends meet
Sooner or later you’ll end up on the street

The day is done and you sniffed that coke
Now your minds in a colorful soak
As you sit on the couch and watch the world pass you by
Your girlfriend goes and gets another guy

You and your buddies are the dope elite
All because you think your addiction you can’t beat
You know there are hospitals and people for these things
But your to busy sniffing so you can feel like a king

Your life is done cause you popped those pills
Your life is done cause the alcohol you spilled
Your life is done cause the weed you smoked
Your life is done cause you sniffed that coke

Heroin, LSD, crystal-meth too
So many drugs I can’t even get to
Now your life is through
All because of you
