Aw man, all that fun with telling my story then switching over to my issue? What a major mood killer. “Well? What is it! Is it bad? Is it at least treatable?” I freaked out. “Calm down,” he said, “relax, I’ll explain it in simple terms for you.” Oh great, he was gonna baby talk it to me. I hated when people talked stupid to me.
“Indeed doctor, please proceed in inducing my mind in the complicated thoughts of my dire condition. It will very well be intricate to my superior intellect.” I said in a mimicking tone. Basically in idiot, I said, “fine, go ahead and tell me what’s wrong, it will b cool to hear.” I was just being a smart ass. He laughed a little, trying not to encourage me too much.
Then he breathed in deep and prepared to tell me what was wrong with me. “It’s actually a very rare condition that is never good and is somewhat hard to diagnose as. You have SDCS. It stands for: Sudden Disposition Change Syndrome. It means because of the huge change in best life to suddenly worse, you developed mental problems that were caused by emotions hidden in you that wouldn’t, yet couldn’t be let out. Because that single rumor changed how people saw you, t changed you a lot, and then you developed all the other stuff as well. It always affects each person differently. It made you ‘sick in the head’. Do you understand so far?” he asked. “Yep, please, go on.” I said.
“It can be very bad. I think I have only seen five cases before and yours is no doubt the worse of all. Now, it is treatable, but in the weirdest way….it may even seem a little unorthodox or maybe like it would never work though.” he said. “Great, so what is it then?” I asked. “Well, I can’t tell you, if I did, it wouldn’t work and this would all be just a waste of time. I’m going to tell your family and they can tell you after its all done.” “What?!? What do you mean you can’t tell me!” I yelled. “It wont work otherwise.” he said again, “but don’t worry, it’s not painful and is not dangerous at all. I promise. Now, let’s go down stairs shall we?” he finished.
All the doors were locked and I was chained down, but still, I was a smart ass again and said, “Sure, I’ll meet you down there in a few minutes ok?” “All right then.” he said, and walked over to the trap door. He grabbed the lift ring and pulled, but it didn’t open. He turned around looking stupid, as he had just realized we were locked in and I was chained.
“So how do we…” “Get out?” I finished for him. “Hold on.” I said, of course still lying near the pillar. I kicked it a few times hard with my left foot. Within a few minutes Sammie came up and let us out. But he suggested I stayed chained up there just a little while longer while he talked to everyone else. That sucked, not much I could do though, still stranded. So I just waited for the time.
I knew he was telling them what I had said and explaining the condition…and the cure too. I laid there on the floor wondering and hoping they came up soon. I wondered, what they were talking about else wise and what was the cure? I just really hoped it worked…..
