[Eyudo]: 725.Z-Town USA 1: the begining of the end: the entire book.Chapter 12: The ceremony And my final thoughts

We received a cordial invitation in the mail after a week. We knew what was in it though after we saw who it was from. The state was to hold a ceremony to honor us for our bravery and to claim us as a position in the FBI for future help in situations like this. 
So the date of the ceremony and every one in the town was sent a flyer on it. It was not mandatory, but everyone in the town showed up to see. That made up happy to see how those people were happy and appreciative of us and our services. 
Some guy talked on the podium a few minutes, then they introduced me and my family and friends with us. I had figured what I would say and do while up there, and they said it would be ok if I spoke and they stood in the back. They really though what had in mind was a good idea. 
They called me up after introduction and I slowly and proudly walked up there with my friends and family around me. Then when we made it up there they parted to let me to the stand. I walked up and stepped up onto the one step and looked out amongst the crowd. They all stared in anticipation.
I reached into my pocket and pulled out a small corked test tube of green liquid. I lifted it up high in my hands and held it high for the entire crowd to see. They all gasped and some stepped back in fear of it.
“Don’t be afraid!” I said sternly and clearly into the microphone, “this is not the virus! But in fact, the cure!” The crowd burst into cheers all at once. They recognized the achievement and what would now be an ok future regardless of another outbreak. We had something to fight it with. The next war on the sickness we could definitely win. 
The speech went on, the majority of it being the story of my journeys as I have told you. But the other part was our commencement. Letting us into the FBI as a lead role. They offered us the job of head of the mythical creature control and confrontation office, or C4 for short. We gladly accepted and took our oath to do our best and whatever we could to keep anything out of the ordinary a little more ordinary. Then it was over and all were happy with the ending.
See, we live in a “different” world then yours you could say. Yes we are humans and yes life is the same as where you all live. But the major difference is that we live with the creatures foretold as myths there. All those creatures live in harmony amongst us and we rarely fight or kill. There are our issues and disputes, but that’s why we are here now it seems. Things will get rough, but you have to be ready for anything they say, and now I think there is nothing more than can shock me after the carnage of that mess of dramatic disasters. 
A lot of secrets were revealed and many more to come I’m sure even. Whatever comes my way in this next part of my life, I am prepared for. I will fight all I can and always be ready for my next mission in this world. The FBI in our department is already looking into more suspicious activity and has news on it coming soon. It will be fun. The adventure will never stop it looks, but I chose this and for the good reason I want to do this. As young as I am, think I know enough, maybe out of early maturity, or a gift that only God himself could explain. 
Whatever the reason I am able to do these things and such. All I know is I will sue these to help all that I can. Besides, what else would I do with it? But besides that obvious point. Things will always need to be done, and all the humans will need a hero of some sort to save them. That’s where we will come in. I know this is not really an end, but in fact a beginning. A beginning to a new set of adventures and tales to tell. I have a feeling, no; I know there will be more soon enough. All I must do is lie and wait. Lie and wait…..
