[Spirit]: 726.So Alone

 
I am lost and alone,
I feel so cold.
My breath comes in ragged shallow breathing.
The lights dim, and it begins to get dark.
I see the stars, and i smell the blood.
I wish my horrid nature would stop, and my frantic feeding would cease,
but alas it does not work that way for I am hunting searching for something to quench my thirst.
I stumble acroos a fair young maiden,
Her name is yet unknown.
But as I look closer and see who she is I shout in anger for her to turn and go.
She comes up to me and asks why I am alone.
I tell her to go before its to late, the thirst is slowly taking over.
She says, "you poor creature out here all alone, why run and hide from the world? Why not create a friend to be along side u? Why do u hate ur existance?" I tell her that I am a horrid monster that cannot control my bloodlust. She crawls into my arms and tilts her head back, exposing her beautiful neck. I turn away but she pulls closer. I tell her to leave, I don't want to harm her. She turns my head and looks into my golden eyes and says, " I love u. I will always be with you. Now drink." I tilt my head back and I howl to the moon. I slowly bend my head towards her beautiful neck and tenderly lick the spot. Her vein pulses under my tongue and i can no longer hold back.
I bite into her tender flesh and hear her gasp, But she does not move from my grasp. I drink my fill trying to stop myself before its to late. But her blood is so sweet I cannot stop. I slowly drain her life away. I finally pull back not wanting to look.
She shakes in my grasp and looks tenderly in my eyes. " Now my soul will be with you." As she slowly dies.
