Staring at the hourglass
The time meaningless, in the essence
Holding, cherishing
Broken theories

Torn and forgotten
Broken, theories never put to test
For all the tears, all the fears
All the pain
Broken theories are always to be blamed
For all the darkness and the light
All the grey, the lack of your sight

Broken theories are always to be blamed
Staring at the hourglass
The time meaningless, in the skin
Cutting, tearing, piercing
Broken theories
Just simply shattered and locked away

2010-11-18 Annie: You have a very lyrical style of writing. This particular poem reminds me a bit of a villanelle with the repetition of lines in various forms. Nicely done. :)
