He had been fighting, trying so damn hard to make everything work. He had killed Sozosha for a reason, to avenge his father and his parents before him, but it had all turned into a huge mess.
After his father's death, Marius had lost it, or that's how the other gods and goddesses saw it. Really, he had just put the pieces of the puzzle together. Sozosha has caused his father's death, and clearly, as the head goddesses, the creator, she had such power, but it could not be allowed.
"You kill me and the world will fall to pieces," Sozosha had said. "Do you really want that responsability on your shoulders?" But Marius didn't care, after hearing her words, Marius had taken her head right off her shoulders. He hadn't thought of the reprocussions of his actions, Marius had figured she was lying to keep herself alive.
Nonetheless, with Sozosha dead, the world was falling apart, and not just the planet that the gods of Heaven watched over, not just Heaven itself, but many of Marius' closest friends and loved ones died in the process. Sozosha had been his mother's life support, so when the creator was killed, so was Marius' beloved mother, and that alone was tearing at Marius.
