Its veins shine through the pale, pale skin. They glow, illuminating it in iridescent splendour of hues, as if the halo of a celestial being. Even lying prone on the operation table, unmoving, clearly unconscious and barely breathing, it looked outlandish. Otherworldly. Ethereal. The tiny black wings protruding from its shoulder blades shiver lightly with each laborous inhale-exhale. Tangled hair the colour of autumn leaves cascades in wispy locks around its head, sticking to its face where its tears have dried. Long lashes brush the narrow cheeks that seem too skinny, the slightly parted, colourless lips are chapped.

Bah. That's all there is to it. I know the writing sucks. :P
And I noticed the tense jumping back and forth. :P

But that's the basic idea of the character. It might be pregnant, I haven't decided yet.
