I am going to start this morning with a few philosophies, if you would like to call them that.
Even though you bask in the afterbirth of a life anew, do not forget, even an infant goes through hardships.
A tree is a tree, yet that can not be sad for the leaves.
Life is something to be treasured, or lost forever in the dark abyss of time.
Savages who live in the wild, are those who prosper in economics.
Religion?
Repentance? Is that what you call it?
Having your nose shoved in your religions shit?
You bring salvation? All you bring are lies,
False hope for saving when everyone dies,
Your leader? Leading the lambs to paradise?
Or is it that you want your own bloody sacrifice?
Religion? Who is this god to which you bow?
When you're getting slaughtered where is your god now?

World Coming Down
Josh looked around, "Where am I?" He began to panic, "This isn't anything like I remember." He felt a stinging pain on the back of his head. He got lightheaded, dizzy, then everything went into a tunnel vision. "You're the last of this town, The only other survivor besides me." The sweet female voice faded out. "Joshua Turner, I never thought... people...find help..."
"Josh, Josh... JOSH WAKE THE FUCK UP!" He felt a slap across his face as he woke up. "Wha?..." He looked up seeing Anna, his girlfriend, standing over him. "Good, you're awake. Why haven't you called me? I've been waiting by the phone for three days and not once, NOT ONCE has it ever rang." She sits down on his chest and lights a cigarette. Josh looks up at her still half asleep, "Baby, you know I'm working on a project. The only time I can quit is when I'm eating, which I have to type and eat at the same time, and when I'm sleeping. Unless you want me to call while I'm sleeping so you can hear me snore." He wasn't about to put up with her being angry. "Whatever, come on lets go somewhere." Anna's mood went from bitchy to cheerful in one small swoop. "Sure, just as long as you don't mind Jesus and Jasline coming with us." Josh knew she would figure out his project was a song he and Jesus had been coming up with sooner or later. "Sure whatever."
Outside sat Josh's beat up '84 model Ford that he loved so much. They got in, Josh put the key in the ignition and turned it. The truck fired up right away letting out a loud roar. De-manufacture by Fear Factory started playing as he pulled out of the drive way. "Why do we have to listen to this shit?" Ana started getting frustrated again. "Because this is my truck, I have to deal with your god damn J-Pop bullshit when I'm riding with you." Josh knew that would piss her off but he hates J-pop with a passion. Ana let out a sigh and just sat back.
They pulled into Jesus' drive way, he could hear the guitar outside. Rolling up his windows he smiled real big at Ana, "Watch this." Josh pulled out his barretta, pulled out the clip, and pulled back the top releasing the bullet that was inside. He puts the magazine and the one bullet on his seat. Josh ran up to the door kicking it in and runs into Jesus' bed room kicking his door in. "GET ON THE GROUND! GET ON THE FUCKING GROUND YOU SON OF A BITCH!" Immediately Jesus stops playing his guitar, dropping the blunt that was in his mouth and urinates in his pants. "Hahaha I'm fucking with you dude, Ana and I just wanted to see if you and Jasline wanted to go hand out for a while." Jesus still scared to death and stoned out of his mind looked at Josh, "Dude don't you ever do that to me again, I thought you were the fucking cops. I was about to shoot your ass." Josh started to laugh, "With what? That pea shooter you keep under your bed?" Jesus started to laugh, "Nah man, with this." Jesus reaches behind his guitar amps and pulls out a sawed off combat shotgun, "This baby holds six cases not including the one in the barrel, Which are all slugs." Josh started laughing. "Alright, alright, chill. Ay change your pants, Ana and I will be waiting out at the truck." Jesus walks over to the dresser, "Alright, I'll be there in a minute."
Jesus, Jasline, Josh, and Ana pulled to what looked like a weigh station. "Alright, here we are." Jasline sounded worried, "Where's here?" Ana looks over at Josh, "There's nothing here you dumb ass." Josh shakes his head, "My, my, my, So testy are we? Just watch." Jesus was sitting in the back smiling knowing where he was, this was 'The Underground' The only club that was actually underground. Josh pulls up onto the platform as it starts to go down. About halfway down into the tunnel you can hear techno music playing. Finally they reach the bottom and park. All four of them walk to the door excited hearing the elevator go up slightly over the pounding of the music, they come to a steel door opening it. Almost deaf by the sudden pulse of music Jesus and Josh smile walking in.
Strobe lights hang from the ceiling, lazers dance on the walls, colorful lights spin around the room, the crowd roars with excitement going crazy over Glis. The room goes quiet as the lead singer speaks. "This one all of you will know if you are our true fans."
"No pulse,
You're lying on your back,
You just can't get ahead,
Because you're running off the track,
No pulse,
You're lying in your bed,
They're shooting at their targets,
So you better play dead."
Josh looks at them "COME ON!" He jumps into the roaring crowd, Ana chasing after him. Jasline looks up at Jesus, "What is this place?" He looks down at Jasline, "Don't worry baby, this is a place one of our former band mates invited us to. It's safe." Josh jumps around getting a couple pills from a man handing them out. He puts one in his mouth, but he feels someone tugging at his shirt. He turns around seeing Ana and slips one in her mouth. Ana swallows it, trusting him. Josh takes six of the pills and hands four to Ana, "COME ON BABY! LETS HAVE SOME FUCKING FUN!" Ana took them without a moments thought. Josh and Ana both started jumping in the crowd. Jasline eventually believes Jesus and goes in taking his hand, she was still a little scared but she wasn't about to let that ruin the fun for everyone else.
Josh looked back at them, "Hey, it's about time you two screw offs showed up. COME ON! FUCKING PARTY DUDE!" Jesus looked down at Jasline, "We'll be out at the truck." They left letting Ana and Josh party. They went back to the truck, "Are you ok?" He started to worry about her. Jasline nodded, "Do... do you ever get the feeling something bad is going to happen?" Jesus looked down at her putting his hand on her cheek, "Like wh-" There was a loud rumble from the surface like an extreme explosion. Jesus looked up screaming out, "WHAT THE HELL WAS THAT!?" The party inside stopped and the lights went out, there were several more rumblings and then complete silence. Ana hugged Josh close, "Baby what the hell is going on?" Josh looks down at her, "You knew we were in the middle of a cold war... I think it's all over for China... and us..."
A deep voice from one of the bouncers came over the commotion "Just wait for the back-up power to come on and everyone will have to leave until the black out is over. Please remain calm, remember if anyone gets out of hand we do have a license to kill." Josh looked around then eventually the lights sprang back on. "Come on lets go to the truck." Ana was scared half to death so he listened to her. They ran back to the truck only to see that Jasline had been in the truck when a large chunk of concrete came down and smashed her head like an egg being dropped onto tile. Jesus just fell to his knees weeping. "She knew something bad was going to happen, and now... oh my god..." Jesus fell to his knees unable to control himself. Josh snapped and punched him in the cheek, "Save your crying for later, we have to get the hell out of here RIGHT NOW! I'm sorry for her too but we have to go." Josh picked him up onto his feet and the three of them ran to the elevator.
Everyone driving onto the elevator was in a panic. But what awaited them on the surface, caused even more horrific chaos. Trees bent over charred to a crisp, once beautiful woods now turned to a black and white horror movie, The grass that was on the surface was replaced by the dust of all that was dead. The entire city looked as if were hit by a plague on the living as well as the vegetation. All three of them looked around at the cold breeze of death's breath. "Oh my god..." Josh couldn't believe his eyes. They walked back into the town, an occasional burning breeze lit their skin on fire. Jesus looked down at his leg, "HOLY SHIT DUDE!" His legs as well as everyone else's was blistered due to the nuclear energy still resonating off the ground. "We know Jesus, it's burning us too." They finally made it back to town looking around as they walked. Jesus started to feel dizzy, the blisters running up his arm as well now. "Dude you're not looking too good, you're looking worse than us." They kept walking Jesus was too weak to speak.
In the middle of the town, char marks took the place of people walking, no windows were found unshattered. The few that had survived, lie dead on the street. Their entire foreskin eaten away by the radioactive waste that was this city. The town hall, a once noble symbol of inner peace, now stood in ruins by the hatred. The pre-school held no children, instead it held their black char marks against the brick walls. "How could all of this have happened in so little time?" Ana was almost in tears that she had to ask. They reach the outskirts of town The corner store that Josh always went to was completely, and utterly destroyed. He went inside to see if anyone was alive, only to see the same thing had appeared on the brick walls as it did in the pre-school, charred outlines of peoples bodies. They went outside, no more cars ran up and down the roads, no birds chirped. All the peace and serenity of this town had gone away in one hours time.
They finally made it back to Josh's house, Jesus was too weak and passed out on Josh's lawn, "SHIT JESUS!" Josh shook him a few times, "JESUS! JESUS! WAKE THE FUCK UP!" No reply, they both look at each other and knew what happened was an inevitability. They walked up to Josh's old room, he was s dumbstruck by what had happened he didn't know what was going on, Josh looked around, "Where am I?" He began to panic, "This isn't anything like I remember." He felt a stinging pain on the back of his head. He got lightheaded, dizzy, then everything went into a tunnel vision. "You're the last of this town, The only other survivor besides me." The sweet female voice lingered. "Joshua Turner, I never thought you of all people I would have to do this to. I would have to find help from taking your skin" Ana grabs his fillet knife and starts cutting into his arm. Her blisters were getting worse, she had to hurry. A large, slender man stood behind her grabbing something from under Josh's bed which he aims by her and shoots. "FUCK!" Ana screams out as she gets up t see what was going on. Jesus was standing by Josh's bed with a Desert Eagle Josh always kept for his protection. "Don't make me do this Ana." Jesus looked her in the eye. Ana just laughed, "What are you going to do? Hm? Shoot me? Shoot me right here." Ana cut her shirt down the middle both of her breasts dangling out pointing to her heart, "Right there." Josh snapped out of it thinking to himself, 'I can't die... not yet...' He reached underneath his dresser and pulled out his .45 held it between her legs and shot up blowing out the top of her skull. He staggered to his feet, "Thanks Jesus. There is only one way to end this though." Jesus nods in agreement Josh puts the .45 to his head, Jesus points the Desert Eagle to his head. Josh smiles at Jesus, "See you in hell man! On three. One... two... three..." They both pull the trigger the grey matter and blood splattering on the walls like an abstract painting. Little did they know that just twenty-three more miles away was a relatively safe town that had little damage and no radioactive energy running through it.
"Television reporter Trish Gibson is on the scene with a report, Trish?"
"A nuclear missal hit the big town of Small Water Springs today. The goverment says it was a mishap in the missal defense system. While going through a routine check, and drill, a four-star general mistook the drill for a serious pressing matter. More on that after this break."
