New Sections!

WritersCo now has two more sections for you!
Tag Writing and Writing Critique.

At Tag Writing you can come up with an idea for a story, then post the first few paragraphs, then Someone else can come along and post a few more paragraphs. With more members posting more paragraphs the story will grow!

At Writing Critique you can sumbit your writing to have others look over it and offer you a critique.

Also, check out What happens next? as a favor to [Lerune].

Finally, delete-button!

I finally made that delete-button for your writings. But it's called "Hide page" and is close to the edit-button on the writings-page.

It worked once for me, but that's all the testing I've managed today. You should only be able to hide your own non-deleted page.

The effect of the hiding is that the page will no longer show up in the list on the index-page above. There will also be a warning on the page that it's obsolete.

New! MI - Writing Prompt!

Allow us to introduce Music Inspiration's Writing Prompt to you. Located at MI - Writing Prompt we hope that it will help writers.

A lot of writers let music inspire them, so Music Inspiration decided to create a monthly challenge: a short excerpt of music for writers to write a (short) story or poem to.

There are no losers, only winners. There are no prizes, save the knowledge that you've written a new piece.

About the writings

There have been plenty of bugs in the writing-section.

To make it work:

Go to your house. Press "No writings here" and edit that page. You don't have to write anything, just submit something. And then the sub-pages will show up.

Please suggest exactly how this can be done more intuitive in the forums. I've seen many people submitting subpages to their top-page before they have a top-page. Somehow, that shouldn't be possible.

And people shouldn't name a subpage "Top Index"! At least not a subpage below the top. "Books.Great story I.Top Index" is less confusing though, I guess.

We'll see if I'm able to fix that "delete writing" button from the Netherlands ;-)
