And by removing my privs... I can't remove the WritersCo elements.

The following things will require removing.
- Any imagery created for the WritersCo (www.writersCo.com) community.
- The shoutbox, as it is a paid item belonging to www.writersco.com should not be displayed on http://writersco.heddate.com/

would you be able to remove these please.

Thanks

You destroyed the community and all the things people have worked on to put up, and took it offline. You basically farted in the face of everyone who has contributed to this site.

The writersco.com domain is yours to do what you want with. With this site I do what I want, and that is to please people who still want to use this site. And you aren't one of these people.

[Veltzeh] removed the shoutbox, what-ever harm that was doing you. It was convenient to have here too and a good link to your new site, but obviously you're more into destroying for everyone than anything else.

I'm of course not going to remove any WritersCo images. They were donated to this community, not to where-ever you decide to point your writersco.com domain.

Well your post just demonstrates how much you actually ever put into this community yourself - you are all about the technology and how much money you can make. You fail to see what members want or what they ask. It took years to get the writings page organised. I remember how long it took to get additional categories added for members to select (now I'll be able to add/amend and remove in a matter of minutes, not months!). Like I said on MSN I wanted to move the community to a format that would give results in an appropriate time scale, and be much more user-friendly. You see WritersCo members as additional profit earners; I see them as fellow readers and writers.

There is a big difference from destroying and saving Henrick - You unfortunately do not know the difference.

I warned members - every way I could here, my only regret that not everyone noticed in time, and that is why I asked you about directing another one of my domains to the linkmeet address, so that members could access. But for some reason you didn't even respond to that and went ahead with your crazy escapade of making things worse for everyone involved.

The shoutbox was removed - because I pay for this, if I have no control over this site, or its content, then I do not feel it appropriate to have something related to the WritersCo associated. Additionally it would only become confussing to members of WritersCo, if messages from Heddate started posting Heddate related messages and vice versa.

I totally agree with that I helped nothing at all with building this community and that this community is totally worthless without that building. I'm not here to build a community, but I do expect that you behave honestly to the users!

The issue is that you redirected the domain to another place and thus destroyed a lot of people's links to this site. I really don't want to be associated with bastards like that!

If you had said to me that you'll create a new site and let me pay for writersco.com, then I would just have been unhappy, but not mad, about it. I can just keep it running slowly or maybe there is someone else here that don't mind taking charge when you're gone, and I don't mind "paying" you with a link to your new site.

I should really have told you this before and we would have come a better agreement, but I really don't fancy talking to you and Writersco is totally unimportant to me so I made a mistake. I just didn't care and thought that you would do the right thing towards the users, which apparently was quite stupid thing to think.

As for the money issue: There is none! [Font] got crazy ideas from Websiteoutlook which has nothing to do with reality. He could even have his own ads on Mainpage, but of course he didn't get rich of that.

My only investment in Writersco is a lot of time and more importantly my reputation to make sites that don't go away because of some sudden business or I-feel-emo reasons. My sites are there to stay and if they stop being popular, they are still there!

If people want to go to [Font]'s this-is-what-I-want-this-month site, I'm sure it will be OK for awhile. If they want something that lasts, they'll go to Elftown or maybe ask me to take over this place.

Why are you being so negative about all of this...

You are making everything personal, rather than dealing with factual and practical statements. I want the community to thrive, and I have already admitted more time should have been given, and had hoped you would have been able to direct another domain to linkmeet. Sadly not.

I'm happy if members want to stay here, or want to help build WritersCo. The choice is theirs. It is their work, their choice of where they want to display it, and most importantly their choice of where they wish to virtually socialise.

No one will ever get 'rich' from WritersCo using ads - but there are minimal costs - which on my part i have always been honest about. I don't hide behind false-hoods and would glady tell anyone how much is put into WC each year at my end.
