For all those wondering how exactly vampyres work for me - because it is slightly different - it's not too difficult actually. As long as it's explained I s'pose.

People can see them as those filthy bloodsuckers with no emotion, torn into a being striving for just blood and fulfilling its own thirst. They're not the same person and they just need blood to keep them going because they ran short before.

Or there are the super power beings that have weird abilities because more of their brain is activated and such like that. Like how Stephenie Meyer sees them. Or, Buffy and Angel.

The way I use my vampyres is more like the first. Only they're more civilized and they are the same person but instead of blood coursing through their veins - although they starve for it, the body's way of stating it's gone - they have the poison of another vampyre becoming their own. It only becomes theirs as it reproduces in their body long enough to have changed taint. Meanwhile - yes they sleep during the day, of course I couldn't leave that one out - rather than being burned while immortal, the sun drains their energy because they don't have blood to stabilize the heat from the sun as well as the heat from the body and the cool from the wind. So either they pass out - brain losing function for until the sun is down from overreaction - or they sleep on their own covered up. So they only walk at night.

A vampyre can only be killed by decapitation, removing or stalling the heart, or draining the veins of their poison some other way. A vampyre can live off of blood if they get enough of it, but they also need to keep their organs working - all of them or it could be painful. They can kill another vampyre by sucking out his/her poison and it won't do much damage other than tear up the throat.

There are half vampyres - half breeds/divies (diversities) - because to make a vampyre you have to suck their blood completely out as well as inject your poison. If you inject your poison and don't suck out the blood, they become a divie (such as Dylan) and thirst slightly for blood or become insane scratching through their skin trying to get the burn of the poison out, or the poison eats away the the blood and veins until death. Most hope for the first choice - which Dylan recieved.

Honestly, I love my vampyres.

There's nothing wrong with them, and you can't change them. So hah. Hah ha hah haha hah.
