Halloween

I run through the falling leaves,
Trying to catch one.
My feet on the sleepy green grass,
Hair tumbling loose.

A rain of russet and gold,
The echos of a cadence in my ear.
My heart dances.

2006-07-31 Marten: It reminds me of a haiku a little. I think of pictures and not in the normal progression of poetry. It evokes a feeling instead of a thought. Well done.
