This is a so-called limerick (so-called because the metre's all wonky - I stopped trying), written for a friend on Elftown as a honourary mention prize. That koala hybrid was cute.

he's a decent lad, will never fail ya
it's a bit of a tragedy
how the poor lad came to be
the day his ma humped a koala
