Looking through the glass walls of the elevator as it rises he can see the stairs slowly receding as a door comes into view. The guards who hold him are tall and muscular humanoids with expressionless faces and a no nonsense attitude. When the elevator finally stops he is forcibly escorted to the processing center where he is finally released. He looks around curiously as his guards softly talk to the person behind the desk and spots a wall monitor which he notices is reporting on the capture of EJoth the final Everlord. Apparently he was captured by an elite hunter seeker team after ion cannon fire disabled his ship early this morning.

Wincing, he is not expecting the rough hands that grab his arms once again as he is almost pulled off his feet. A hand in the small of his back shoves him forward till his hip bones grind against the front of the desk. Grabbing his left hand the guard forces it down on a glowing plate which flashes a bright yellow light. The tingle traveling up his arm from his hand, although not pleasant isn’t hurtful. He watches the attractive dark haired woman sitting behind the desk as she studies the screen in front of her. Although this only takes a few seconds, it seems longer. The yellow light fades out and the woman types something on her keyboard and a door that he had not noticed before irises open beneath the monitor he had been watching before.

The grip on his arms tightens till he is sure they will leave bruises. He is pulled to the side and through the new door which silently closes behind the three. Once in this room he is assaulted by the noise of conversation from several prisoners talking to each other or to their legal counsel. The dull grey walls are windowless and the light source is indirect. He counts six small tables with two chairs each, nine of which are occupied. His arms are released and he his told by his guard to wait here for them to finish processing him. The two guards advance to the counter where behind a glass panel stands another woman who could be a clone of the one from the last room he had been in. The guards engage the woman in conversation through the slit in the glass as he studies the room more closely.

Immediately he feels a presence or power and he looks around trying to locate it. His seeking eyes pass over then return to a large glass cube filled with a swirling grey mist. Flashes of white light dance around the swirls. Drawn to the cube he slowly moves toward the small table it sits on. Reaching out a cautious hand he brushes it over the cube and is shocked by the power he feels emanating from it. His other hand reaches out and he picks up the cube for a closer examination. It isn’t as heavy as he expected it to be and it is strangely warm to the touch. Almost mesmerized, he peers into the swirling mist that seems to almost call to him. He is so captivated by the cube that he doesn’t notice the conversations stopping as all eyes turn to him.

A deep bass mechanical voice startles him as it says, “You are ordered to drop that container now!”
For the first time since his capture the man spoke. “Fine” Giving the guards a wicked grin he opens his hands and watches the cube fall to the floor where it shatters.
Shocked silence fills the room as the mist swirls and fills with light. When it reaches the mass of roughly human proportion it swiftly covers his guards, jerking them together. A crackle of energy and the guards are gone.
The man stares with open mouth as the mist contracts back and from the light steps a man. He knows this man’s face from the news report he had just watched. Shaking, he is powerless to move as the Everlord walks gracefully to him and with a hand under his chin closes his mouth.

“For releasing me, you have my thanks, now step back to the wall.”
He can’t. He can’t even move let alone walk so the Everlord places a hand to his chest and gently pushes him against the wall. Swallowing the bulge in his throat he tries to talk, “Who-who are you?” "I am EJoth you are Azazel, now you may want to shut your eyes.”
His eyes snap shut and within moments he hears ripping and tearing sounds. Glass breaking and the terrified screams from the others in the room. He is peppered with shrapnel and dust tickles his nose. Cautiously he opens one eye and he sees the spike of a large craft that has broken through the defenses of this secured and protected building.

A hatch opens from the spike and a ramp descends. EJoth reaches out a hand and grabs his arm pulling him toward the ramp. With a gentle push to his back he is directed to enter the craft. As soon as the two are safely aboard the ship the ramp retracts and the craft pulls itself free from the space station. The jolt of acceleration causes the man to stumble as the craft leaps back into free space. He watches with amazement as the wall in front of him blurs then becomes transparent. Through the wall he watches as the space station recedes. Once a safe distance has been achieved a fireball engulfs the space station and Junction Station Bliss is no more.

Still in shock from the escape Azazel is directed by the Everlord toward the bridge. Surrounded by viewing ports Azazel watches as the space around the craft is soon cluttered by a massive fleet composed of several types of ships.

"Hunters" muttered EJoth. He walks over to the captain’s chair and seats himself. His fingers dance over the counsels on the arms of his chair and he snaps out a command to a robed corrupted standing ready to receive his orders. With a snap of his wrist the robed figure opens a hatch to the flight deck and Azazel watches with amazement as over two thousand corrupted are revealed. Each stands ready to fight. The corrupted legion walked out of the open ports and jump into space, latching themselves onto any ship they can make contact with. They somehow force the fleet away from the massive ship and detonate at a safe range, sometimes taking more than one ship with them. One of the corrupted latches onto the hunter flagship docking bay and detonated taking out the flagship, and throwing a passing craft towards Vailis.

After the fleet is defeated the Tyrant proceeds to leave the system which the hunters patrolled. EJoth senses something however; he walks toward the viewing port and spots a final pursuer. This last pursuer is not in a ship but flying at him in mechaform indicating that he is a Vailis. EJoth smiles and with a flash of fire he vanishes from the bridge and appears on the flight deck. The unit fires a plasma bolt at EJoth just as EJoth leaps into the air. EJoth halts his flight and rushes at the mech already in his own mech form and clashes scythe to sword.

"Pathetic you know that?" shouted the mech.
"Yes you are" said EJoth as he knocked the man off his wing. "Keshath why do you chase me everywhere I go?"
"Because I need to pay you back for all those times you halted my advance." They rush each other once again this time passing each other completely. EJoth’s blade nearly cleaves Keshath in two as he teleports away.

2007-01-04 iippo: The present tense took a lot of getting used to while reading this... it makes it feel alost like reading an RP.
Story-telling-wise I found it a bit odd that this dangerous Everlord was held in a glass cube that was just carelessly placed for anybody to break.

2007-01-22 Ultiem: thats some of the details im trying to work out. little retarded details like that, the more i read and re read this the more i can add on to it
