[ghost]: 200.Poetry.Ballad of Broken Hearts

Maybe if things had worked out differently, life would be ok
and maybe if you'd just done or said the right thing, life would have never changed
and what if you could "maybe" your way to infinite, all the possible outcomes
how would it change the truth of reality, now all you've lost is gone?

And I understand your pain
(I can sympathize!)
and life seems especially unfair
(no tears left to cry!)
even though nothing ever seems to change
and even though no one ever seems to care

Please remember a Broken Heart
never cries
alone
and know that the sun still shines
above
the storm
believe that there's more to life
than just pain
and betrayal
and trust that just given time
all your wounds will heal

Why do you always feel so lonely?
why can you never taste of love?
and just what sin have you committed
that what you have you must give up?
And why do we question the things
that lie outside of our control?
And why don't we listen to the answers
buried deep inside our souls?

Really, we know the hate that haunts us
(we know our disease)
and really we love the plague we hold
(if we could help it we'd never leave)
but even so, we're bound forever in this blank serinity
we're all in this together, and we all share this agony!

so please remember, a Broken Heart
