I refuse all your help
'cause what I really need
is to only need myself

trust so easily betrayed
so painfully it's broken
abused and thrown away

life so quietly it passes
forever moving forward
and still our questions don't get answered

I am not okay
to simply live a life of
ME-DI-O-CRITY!!!

I want something more
I reject the simple life
I cannot accept that "normal" is the best that I can find
I must be something great
even at all other costs
the life I will create will make up for all I've lost!

Fame is none of my concern
I just want to take life
someplace it's never been before

Love the deadliest emotion
there is no life without it
but it moves us at its whim

Time forever works against me
attempts to slow my progress
by progressing in my sleep - O -

Sleep a simple sacrifice
I make out of the interest
of keeping up with time

I want something more
I reject the simple life
I cannot accept that "normal" is the best that I can find
I must be something great
even at all other costs
the life I will create will make up for all I've lost!

Life is a race that I cannot afford to lose
If I lose my way, I fear I may never get home
Try as I may, I fall behind where I can be
As I beat myself, I see the true failings in me!

... the moment we cease to grow ...
... is the moment we start to die...

... and death is not an option...
