What do you think I want?
What do you think I need?
What makes you think
you know me so damned well
that you can tell me what I've seen?

What do you think I have?
What do you think I seek?
What makes you think
that you could ever
truly understand me?

It's my life, mine
and I won't let you live it for me
and if I fall, fine
but when I stand, it will be on my own feet!

Who are you to tell me
what's important in my life?
How are you going to tell me
what it is I feel?
why do you think you know
the best way to love what's mine?
What can you tell me
about what's real?
