You

I don't know your scent.
I don't know your touch.
I only know craving,
A yearning and lust.

I can't trace your movements
Or hear your steps in my mind.
I only have my imagination
To convey the sublime.

I can only think
It's the same way for you,
With only my voice
To carry me through.

What kind of effect
Does it have on your soul?
Is it similar to mine
When you tempt my control?

Time inhibits us
Just as surely as distance
But everything you give me
Makes this the perfect existence.

So talk to me
Like lover's do
And together 'til the end,
We'll make it through.
