Moving On.

I left your world,
for one of my own.
Where unicorns prance,
and angels have flown.

I have arrived,
in this magical place,
where Cupid's darts grow,
and faeries learn grace.

Your love I grasp close,
to my heart in the dark,
for without you here,
my world is too stark.

Even in a place,
so mythical and free,
it's your memory I cherish,
and hold dearest to me.

I used to be frightened,
of death's swift wings,
but now that I'm here,
I fear different things.

I fear you won't make it,
and that heaven to me,
will be a paradise lacking,
in love, passion, and glee.

So here I stand,
with tears in my eyes,
watching over you,
as you live out your life.
