The morning started out black as night, the rain clouds thundering overhead. Occasionally a bolt of lightening would flash through the dark clouds, flickering white upon sleeping faces. But, there was one young lady who was just awakening to witness the beautiful storm.
She sat on the edge of her bed, the form of a lean, wiry man sprawled beneath the covers evident. He didn’t even stir as the thunder cracked and lightening struck.
She glanced at him briefly before standing, letting the storm light her way as she snatched a pack of cigarettes off the exotic bureau, pushing one from the pack and lighting it in one smooth motion. She puffed on it, weight on one foot, one arm tucked beneath the other, looking down at the bureau with intense interest.
Finally she sighed and stood, walking over to the man and putting her cigarette out on his back, the smell of burning flesh and smoke filling the air around her for the slightest moment.
Her face dark, she shook her head at the body of the man, and sit back on the bed, spanking his bottom and laughing quite loudly, as if it was the only thing she knew to do. Chuckle, she stood up and slipped her heels on,
