Pen and paper in hand
Wait for that moment
When I can make time stand still
On to the blankness so easily
As if the void that lives in us all
Could be filled by a simple string of words
There is nothing but
This vision in my mind
I see the words on paper
That’s what this gives me
Freedom to be the person
That I can never seem to bring out
The one I hide away
In the dark and dusty
Corners of my mind
