“Oh man,” she thought. “I really don’t want to go take a shower. What if...man I can’t even think of that. Oh God...” she sighed, her thoughts were on the one thing she feared most.
She couldn’t stand going in there but she knew she had too. It was a war she fought constantly. In fact, she had to tackle it every day.

“I guess, I’ll jump in and hurry. Maybe I’ll get out before it gets me.” That was what she thought every time she took a shower.

Slowly she stripped her clothes off, the entire time thinking, “I hope it doesn’t get me. What if it does? Will I be able to get it off me? What if it gets in my hair? Or if it climbs in my ear. Oh my God! What if it climbs in my ear and lays eggs, or eats my brain away! Ugh! I won’t live to see my kids grow up, or see my grandkids. What will become of my family?” All of this was racing through her brain.

She finally started the water, watching carefully to make sure that nothing came out of the faucet except the luke warm water. When nothing came out after a minute, she decided it should be safe for her to get in. Once in, she started to soak her body under the slowly pouring water, still watching the spout to make sure. When her hair was dripping wet she stepped out of the spray and poured the shampoo in her hand while wondering once again. “What happens if there’s one in there? Will I not see it? Will it crawl around in my hair and burrow into my scalp? Will I get an infection from it biting me? Will it make me brain dead? What if I get an infection so bad that my skin starts to fall off? Oh my God! What if I die!”

Finally, she rubbed the shampoo into her hair. Trying to make it as fast as possible. After it was thoroughly rubbed in, she stepped back into the water. However, not before double checking the spigot that the water poured out. It was safe, so quickly she rinsed her hair out.
“I got to hurry. If I don’t, it will get me. I’ll be doomed!”

After she rinsed out her hair, she stepped out of the shower. “I’ll turn the shower off and wait a few minutes before I finish up.” She wrapped herself in a towel and took a seat on the bench in the bathroom. While she sat there she pondered, “that went ok. The rest of the shower should be all right. I think I’ll relax a little bit.” that’s just what she did.

The rest of her shower went well. She finished her washing up and got out again. As she approached her bedroom she was thinking, “Another shower without an attack. Now I won’t have to worry for at least another day.”

She opened the door and walked into her cluttered bedroom. The bed was nice and cushy under her freshly cleaned skin. When she leaned over to get her clean clothes off her dresser, she froze. There on her smooth, unwrinkled clothing, was a great big, grey and white, hairy, wolf spider. “Holy...Oh my...I...Uh...HELP!” She thought, screaming in her head.
She started hyperventilating while losing it. “It’s gonna get me! My lifes over! What do I do? Who’s gonna save me? Nobody will. Nobody knows I’m in here. Nobody knows that this monster’s in here. It’s the end, no more!”

As all of these things were going through her head, the gigantic spider moved closer. Then the most horrific thing happened. It jumped onto the bed. It was inches from her.
“Oh no, I really am going to die, I’m sorry for everything I’ve ever done. Please don’t let me die! I’m not ready. Please I’m to young...

Smack!

Just as she thought it really was the end, he whacked the big nasty thing with his size 13 shoe.
