The girl sat alone and forsaken upon her bed. Her body slouched as close to the sheets as they could without actually touching them she shrunk into her surroundings. Became a part of the nothing. There was no more emotion left to feel and nothing would ever make this right again.
She heard the phone ring from a distance. She already had lost her contact to the world, being saturated within herself. Time held her in his hand and she slipped out of it as the jello on the spoon. No matter how many times that phone rang she never actually heard it. She just... almost noticed it. Her eyes were slightly open but not really seeing. Her ears filled with the nothing that had encaptured her for years of her life. Nothing...
She awoke to a bright pang in her eyes. The sun shoen bright into her eyes as needles pierced quickly through the layers of flesh. She awoke with a shudder. She realized she must have fallen asleep or blacked out or something. Nothing out of the usual. she often forgot her days as if they were just smears that transfered from light to dark, from movement to dream... from life to death.
She couldnt remember her happiness. She knew that she had it once but it was long forgotten. She saw pictures and while it always looked fake she knew that somehow she had at sometime been truly happy. if only she could glimpse at it again. feel it again. be able to hold onto a moment dearly even if it were just onto the pain. she really just didnt feel anything. nothing...
the thoughts blurred away within seconds as she moved her hand, the first sign that she was truly awake. she walked with instinct to hte bathroom, to the kitchen and out of the door. to the bus, to the school and back to home.
