Wandering around like a billy
goat,
looking for rhymes
in words for mimes,
mask whiteface whistle-blow,
spin spin hop!
Tried to find a cat in a box,
wanted to try out that old paradox
yes,
thought it was a good plan
but not for an old man,
fall over trip on stairs,
bump bump plop!
Down to the pond to find a frog,
uh-oh got lost in the old bog
yipe!
gotta find a night-light
there'll be a light-fight,
ouch oooh that hurt,
help help cop!
Maybe in a few years,
we'll all have grown eighty more ears
ha!
better get a punchline
so the joke'll look fine,
laugh live fun play,
bing bing bop!
Otherwise, a very interesting poem. Nothing I'd nominate as 'deep,' but amusing ^_^ which is always a plus.
and really, a lot of my poems aren't particularly deep. i just enjoy making them silly and fun! ^-^
