Temptation

Chocolate.
You beckon to me,
Telling me to take you
Whispering sweet nothings in my ear...
I submit;
I take you home
You are as perfect as was promised me,
Dressed in your scant ribbons
Of red and black.
Soon unclothed
You lie there;
Rich and tempting.
I resist,
I turn away,
I try to forget the temptation
I steal a glimpse.
You lie there
Beckoning me;
Working on my mind...
But I will not surrender
No!
I find myself
Thinking of you,
Longing for you.
I come back,
Gaze at you,
I cannot turn away
You are too perfect.
Carefully I take you in my hand
Telling myself that this means nothing.
You are smooth and shining;
Glistening.
I raise you to my lips;
Just a little
I tell myself...
Then for a moment heaven!
And you are gone
And I am left with only a memory,
But content.
